Breed Booth competition winnersThe winner of the Best Breed Booth for the best decorated and most informative Breed Booth in the Discover Dogs area at Crufts 2008 was the Labrador breed booth. The competition was judged by John Banbury and Bob Dyke and the results were as follows:
Labrador Irish Wolfhound Field Spaniel Affenpinscher Tibetan Terrier Russian Black Terrier
Images of the winning booths will appear on our Flickr gallery next week.
The Kennel Club would also like to thank the breed booth holders in the Discover Dogs area and all the other officials and helpers who assisted to ensure that Crufts remains the world's greatest dog show.
Dog Photographer of the Year 2008Following the launch at Crufts 2008 the Kennel Club is calling for entries for this year's Dog Photographer of the Year competition. The competition is open to anyone and everyone - all that you need is a camera, a roll of film and - of course - a love of dogs!
The winning photograph from the competition will be framed and displayed at Discover Dogs 2008 (8th and 9th November 2008 at Earls Court 2, London). The image will also be reproduced on the front cover of the special Photography Competition edition of the Kennel Club’s flagship
publication, the Kennel Gazette, and the winner from each category will be presented with a framed print of their photograph.
